Winter finally decided to show up in all its magnificence. Daily temperature highs dropped to below freezing this week, and they’re likely to stay there now for quite a while. Who knows, maybe we’ll have a surprise blast of warm for a couple of days. Or maybe the AMOC will turn off, and we'll be plunged into Day After Tomorrow perma-winter.
I think it's pretty useful. Certainly, it's a whole lot easier to clean the kitchen when the sink is right next to it! It's HOT slaving over there! The best thing about it now is that it heats the oven right up. I can do jacket potatoes in there in no time at all. What am I saying? It's not that I _can_. I am having jacket potatoes almost every other day!!
