Somehow, you words this morning sparked a genuine curiosity about your shower project... Has that been put on hold until the Spring arrives, or are the showers now operational?
Are you using new showerheads or the old ones? This makes a difference, because old showerheads have been known to carry such nasties as legionnaires disease - nasty stuff…
Yeah, that would have been lovely. But the farm place did let me get a bale on Rechnung. Happy pigs (when thez deliver later this week) and something fun for future Ben :)
I was wondering about silicone as a solution. I think I could use it where the panes are mostly firmly in place, but I think some of them need something a bit more structural as well. What do you reckon?
I hate the cold and really feel for you. I hope you can get straw for the piggies. Hang in there.
Thank you! It gets better every year. One day it will be quite nice :)

Half way between the two. The heating is going to be integrated with the big winter project -the tomato house.
Call and a catch up soon?
Yep…I will set something up this week…

I'll put up signs "don't drink the shower water"
I hope I can stop people licking each other.... ewwww!
😂😂😂😂😂
We have a few tons of straw at our farm that we don‘t use/need anymore as we have moved our horses onto fancy „Waldboden“ for sleeping.
You could have it all for free, but I don’t know how far away you are from the Swiss border?
sadly, too far. About 5 hours :)
Crap :-(

What about a liberal bead of silicone down the drafty joints? Quick, easy, relatively cheap and super effective... I'll send you a box if you like?

Sticky as can be and will still 100% cure in big gaps!! And comes in colours!!!
I'd take a box of that! ☺️
