Yes, it´s the saddest book I ever read, too, but nevertheless, I´d advise you to go on reading if you can handle it (no, it doesn´t get any better, but there´s nothing wrong with having a good cry from time to time, is there?). (I´d recommend reading one of the pranks of Max and Maurice by Wilhelm Busch after each of your "A little life" sessions, but you can´t, because I´ve nicked it from the library ;-)
Don’t quit the book but yes it’s beyond sad…I cried buckets reading this but it’s also a beautifully written book.
