Hi Ben, I really like your perspective on things. It’s something I’ve been wrestling with - this perspective between the fantasy that we can reverse the harm that’s been done and step “back to Eden” or that we’re all scheduled to for a miserable end any day now. Either way, all we have is now. Like you, we’re focussing on growing soil, food and community. All the best, keep up the great work!

200 chapters in and you just released your Sgt Pepper.

A really really good read.

Well done Ben.

Please skip magical mystery tour and go straight to The White Album.

Do not pass go.

You definitely won the game of life this week.

June Trophy goes to the Happy Doomer.

The longer such an explanation has time to form in the brain, the shorter and clearer it can get. This is a very good example for that. I bring the muffins.

That's why I hold you in such high esteem. You probably cringe when you read this, and I don't mean to put you on a pedestal, but you're simply the only person I know of who lives with Radical Authenticity. By comparison, I stand at the shore and yell at the waves. Or bark at the storm. I'm still hoping that MAYBE people can change... yeah, right...

Ideas, like seeds, also take time to germinate. And the conditions need to be right. I'm glad that was the case when you penned today's chapter! As always, it makes for encouraging reading, not least because you are attempting to live the best sort of life, with happiness, grounded in a thoughtful morality. You are serious but don't take yourself too seriously (neither the pigs, nor the hare seem to either). As another human being, it simply makes me feel less lonely and more courageous this morning. Thank you. And have a merry week with the potager.

Have you met me? You wouldn't take me seriously either :)

Thank you, though, Maritza. The Happy Doomer introductory guide will only grow as I come to understand it better, I am sure
