First off...thanks for the shout out - I'm happy you enjoy reading my work and passed it on to anyone else who may be interested. Now...the important stuff - surviving the cold! I struggled as well with the long cold winters, and like you, I usually got over it at some point in January. This year I changed my strategy and decided to confront the cold outdoors as much as possible - meaning getting my butt outside and being part of the environment rather than bitching about it. It helped. The darkness is another story...but alas, the days are growing longer and the darkness - like it always does - is starting to yield to the light!

I can without a hint of doubt in my head or words confirm that I am indeed 100% male from an anatomy perspective...how I think is open for debate!

Easily done :) Jack Monroe is a total hero of mine. But I have only ever read her words.... yesterday, listening to Radio 4, I heard her speaking for the first time. She was talking about her campaign to get the ONS to count the cost of grocery shopping in a better way. And it looks like they pretty much instantly agreed! Super effective!

I keep forgetting that the winters there are so much more harsh than we get back here in Blighty. I kinda wish we still got those here. 😥

Oh no you don't. They're crap! :)

Other than the built-in future advantage, of course that things are only going to get hotter, so it's probably a good idea to start from the lowest baseline you can tolerate :D
